Maintenance Tech III – 2nd shift (Sr. Technician will oversee the Tech II, has more knowledge and is willing to oversee others). Also need a Tech III on 1st shift.

1st shift: 7 am – 3:30 pm
2nd shift: 3 pm – 11:30 pm (plus shift differential of $3/hr)

Eligible for medical benefits the first of the month following 30 days of employment, 8 major holidays, accrual for PTO – 2 weeks for the first year and start accruing at 3 weeks the second week, 1 and a half times your salary for life insurance, 401k after 6 months – match 50% up to 6% of your gross, they have 50 – 60 employees. The culture is nice there. They have a quarterly bonus – anywhere from 1-2% of your gross for the quarter when the company meets their KPI’s and Safety observations.

They have 4 maintenance techs, they need 3 replacements, they want manufacturing experience but will consider other types of experience, they want mechanical as well as electrical, they've been getting a lot of automotive mechanics which is not what they want. They have PLC’s, 480v 3 phase motors, so some PLC troubleshooting, HMI's, VFD experience is desired. Journeyman Electrical license is a plus.

They're in the automotive aftermarket, wash manufacturing (windshield wash, antifreeze, Windex, seafoam). They have cases of windshield washer fluids that go on conveyors, 3 blow mold machines, 2 palletizers that run off the wash lines, they have gearboxes, cylinders, valves, pneumatics, do teardowns.

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN III

SUMMARY
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair tasks in order to ensure the efficient operation of machinery, equipment, and facilities. The role requires a robust technical aptitude and the ability to work individually or as part of a team. There are three levels of skillset in this position, each with varying degrees of expertise and responsibilities. This job description is for Maintenance
Technician III.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function.
As a Maintenance Technician III, you will be a senior member of the maintenance team and will have extensive knowledge and experience in a variety of systems and equipment. In addition to performing advanced maintenance and repair tasks, you will take a leadership role in coordinating and prioritizing maintenance activities.
• All essential functions of a Maintenance Technician I and Maintenance Technician II.
• Demonstrate advanced expertise and experience in maintenance and repair tasks.
• Take a lead role in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs and procedures.
• Conduct in-depth inspections and analysis to identify root causes of equipment failures.
• Oversee the installation, calibration, and maintenance of control systems.
• Utilize specialized diagnostic tools and software to diagnose and rectify problems.
• Installs, programs, troubleshoots, and repairs programmable logic controller (PLC).
• Performs electrical wiring from low voltage through 480-volt 3 phase industrial systems.
• Provide technical guidance and training to Maintenance Technician I and Maintenance Technician II team members.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize equipment performance and reliability.
• Stay updated with industry advancements and emerging technologies related to maintenance.
• Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
• Maintain good housekeeping and regularly clean work area, machines, and equipment.
• Identify and contribute to continuous improvement efforts to reduce costs or increase productivity without reducing effectiveness.
• Maintain an open and candid working relationship with immediate supervisor/manager in discussing matters of
importance.
• Adhere to established company values, practices, policies, and procedures at all times. Follow and support
compliance with all applicable safety rules, laws, regulations, and standards.
• Demonstrate regular and punctual attendance at the assigned work location.

MARGINAL FUNCTIONS

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, AND CERTIFICATIONS
An individual qualified for this job must have and maintain the following qualifications:
• In additional to Maintenance Technician I and Maintenance Technician II qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, mechanical maintenance), or any satisfactory
combination of education and experience that demonstrates the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform
the above duties.
Journeyman electrical license is a plus.
• Extensive experience in maintenance and repair of complex machinery and systems.
• In-depth knowledge of advanced maintenance techniques, including predictive and condition -based
maintenance.
• Proficiency in using specialized tools and equipment for diagnosing and repairing complex issues.
• Experience managing maintenance projects, including planning, budgeting, and coordinating resources.
• Strong leadership skills to supervise and train junior technicians.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify root causes of equipment failures and implement
effective solutions.
