MAINTENANCE MECHANIC OPENINGS WITH A NEW MANUFACTURING PLANT IN LAS VEGAS NV. WE ARE LOOKING FOR MAINTENANCE MECHANICS WHO ARE STRONG ELECTRICALLY WITH EXPERIENCE IN THE MANUFACTURING FIELD. THIS WILL BE A NEW FACILITY SO YOU HAVE TO BE OPEN TO TRAIN FOR 12 WEEKS AT DIFFERENT LOCATIONS IN THE US.
FLY OUT MON WORK UNTIL HALF DAY FRI THEN FLY BACK HOME FRIDAY FOR THE TRAINING
OPENINGS ON 1ST AND 3RD SHIFT BOTH 12 HOUR SHIFTS 223 SCHEDULE
PAYS: $33-$39 + $1 SHIFT DIFF FOR NIGHTS

Industrial Maintenance Technician II
Position Summary
The Industrial Maintenance Technician II is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial machinery and automated production equipment. This position requires strong mechanical, electrical, PLC, and automation troubleshooting skills to maximize equipment reliability and minimize production downtime.
Key Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial production and automated equipment.

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to reduce equipment downtime.

Maintain and troubleshoot motors, pumps, conveyors, CNC machines, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, PLC, automation, and controls-related issues.

Troubleshoot PLC inputs/outputs, drives, controllers, sensors, and automated systems.
-
Assist with installation, setup, calibration, and startup of new machinery.
-
Maintain facility and infrastructure equipment.
-
Perform routine equipment inspections, lubrication, cleaning, and adjustments.
-
Identify repeat equipment failures and participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
-
Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical manuals.
-
Maintain accurate work orders, repair history, and spare-parts documentation.
-
Support and mentor entry-level Maintenance Technicians.
-
Work with Production, Quality, and Warehouse teams to improve equipment uptime and plant performance.

Follow all machine, electrical, automation, and workplace safety requirements.
Qualifications
-
3+ years of experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician required.

2-year technical degree or equivalent training preferred.

Strong PLC and automation troubleshooting experience required.

Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
-
Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics.
-
Experience troubleshooting motors, pumps, conveyors, CNC machinery, drives, and controllers.

Ability to troubleshoot PLC inputs and outputs and automated equipment.
-
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
-
Experience with preventive maintenance and equipment reliability.
-
PLC programming, robotics, or automation certification preferred.
-
PMMI, CAP, or similar industrial maintenance certification preferred.
-
OSHA 10 certification preferred.
-
Ability to independently diagnose equipment failures and complete repairs correctly the first time.
Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Ability to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl as required.

Must be comfortable working around industrial machinery and automated production equipment.
