Maintenance Technician – Blow Molding

Position Summary

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician with hands-on experience maintaining and troubleshooting blow molding equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production, packaging, and facility equipment.

Candidates must have strong mechanical skills along with experience troubleshooting PLCs, electrical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, and blow molding machinery.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain blow molding equipment and auxiliary systems.

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment.

• Troubleshoot PLCs and automated production equipment.

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

• Troubleshoot electrical equipment involving 110V, 220V, and 480V systems.

• Repair and maintain conveyors, pumps, piping, plumbing, and material handling equipment.

• Maintain packaging equipment including case erectors, case sealers, and palletizers.

• Support liquid filling equipment and other production machinery.

• Assist with equipment installations, startups, changeovers, and modifications.

• Maintain spare parts inventory and complete maintenance documentation.

• Perform general facility and building maintenance as needed.

• Follow all safety procedures and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Blow molding equipment maintenance experience required.

• PLC troubleshooting experience required.

• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.

• Experience with pneumatics and hydraulics.

• Experience troubleshooting 110V, 220V, and 480V electrical systems.

• Experience with preventive maintenance programs.

• Experience with conveyors, pumps, piping, and material handling systems.

• Packaging equipment experience, including case erectors, case sealers, and palletizers.

• Liquid filling equipment experience preferred.

• Ability to independently troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and minimize downtime.

• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
