Job Title: Emergency Medicine Physician — Locum Tenens

Position Overview:

A hospital in southern Oklahoma has an ongoing opening for a board certified Emergency Medicine Physician to provide locum tenens overnight coverage. This is a long term opportunity for the right candidate with full travel and expenses covered.

Schedule:

Overnight coverage — 5PM to 7AM
12 hour shifts
Ongoing long term opportunity through December 2026

Facility Details:

Level IV Trauma Center
Monthly volume — 1,300 plus patients
EMR — Meditech Expanse
Southern Oklahoma location

Compensation and Benefits:

Competitive hourly rate — contact recruiting team for details
Overtime paid
Travel fully covered — air hotel mileage car gas tolls and parking
Specific hotels required per client travel policy

Required Qualifications:

MD or DO — required
ABEM or AOBEM board certified — required
Active Oklahoma medical license or willingness to obtain
BLS required
Clean malpractice history
Comfortable with overnight shifts — 5PM to 7AM
Available to start as soon as possible

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior locum tenens experience
Existing Oklahoma medical license
Experience in rural or community hospital emergency departments
Comfort with Level IV Trauma acuity
