SHIFT: 6PM-630AM 223 SCHEDULE

PAYS: $27-$32 HOURLY + $1.25 SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL

Maintenance Mechanic

Location: Portland, IN
Shift: 3rd Shift | 6:00 PM–6:30 AM
Schedule: 2-2-3
Pay: $27–$32/hour

Position Summary

Seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic with strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills. Looking for experience with PLCs, 480V, hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial manufacturing equipment. Injection or blow molding experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair PLCs and PLC-controlled equipment.

• Troubleshoot 480V/240V/120V AC/DC electrical systems, motors, and controls.

• Read electrical schematics, ladder logic, and equipment drawings.

• Troubleshoot and repair molding machines, grinders, pumps, compressors, gearboxes, and support equipment.

• Repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

• Perform preventive maintenance, equipment setups, and changeovers.

• Use meters and diagnostic tools to identify equipment problems.

• Support equipment reliability and minimize production downtime.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience preferred.

• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.

• Experience with PLCs, 480V, hydraulics, and pneumatics.

• Manufacturing experience preferred.

• Injection molding or blow molding experience is a plus.

• Welding and rigging experience preferred.

• High school diploma or GED required.

• Must have basic maintenance tools.
