Fleet Mechanic Cincinnati, Ohio

Fleet mechanic openings available in Cincinnati OH. We are looking for two individuals who have fleet maintenance experience. Ideally someone with ready mix trucks or even garbage trucks.
Must be open to the shift as it depends on customer needs
Pays: $28-$37 hourly
Shift differential of $8 per hour outside the 6am-6pm hours
Fleet Maintenance Mechanic (2 Openings)
Pay: $28.00-$37.00/hour
- Shift differential available for hours worked outside 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Schedule:
- Must be flexible with shifts and hours
- Hours may vary depending on concrete pours
- Weekend availability required
Looking For:
- Fleet maintenance experience
- Experience working on ready-mix trucks preferred
- Candidates with garbage truck/heavy truck maintenance experience are also a good fit
- CDL is a plus (company can assist with obtaining one)
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Perform routine maintenance on fleet vehicles such as Front and Rear Concrete Mixers, Dump Truck, and Loader including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on fleet vehicles
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns
- Troubleshoot any issues with WABCO vehicle control systems and ABS systems
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed on fleet vehicles
- Communicate with management regarding any issues or concerns with fleet vehicles
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety standards and regulations
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
