MAINTENANCE MECHANIC OPENING IN LINWOOD PA. WE ARE LOOKING FOR A DAY SHIFT MAINTENANCE MECHANIC HERE. LOOKING FOR SOMEONE STRONGER ON THE MECHANICAL SIDE BUT ALSO WITH ELECTRICAL EXPERIENCE LIKE PLCS, VFDS, 480V.
HOURS ARE 6AM-230PM MON-FRI
PAYS: $30-$35 HOURLY
Maintenance Technician
Position Summary
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment and facility systems to minimize downtime and support safe, efficient operations.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and facility equipment.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and complete assigned maintenance requests.
- Perform basic facility repairs, including drywall, painting, lighting, and plumbing/compressed air systems.
- Conduct safety inspections and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Support inventory of maintenance parts and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Basic electrical, plumbing, and compressed air knowledge; welding is a plus.
- Experience with preventive maintenance, Lean/5S, and root cause analysis preferred.
- High school diploma or GED required.
