DAY SHIFT DAY CAN RANGE FROM 6AM-430PM DEPENDS ON PRODUCTION
HOURLY RATE: $35-$40 HOURLY
WILL RELOCATE WITH $5K IN REIMBURSEMENT
THIS IS ALSO A TRAVEL ROLE TO THEIR OTHER PLANTS IN AZ AND KY
Position Overview
We are seeking an expert level Master Mechanic with deep experience in Lian Rou pocket-coil machinery to support, maintain, and optimize our coil production operations. This role is responsible for ensuring maximum equipment uptime, leading complex mechanical troubleshooting, executing precision repairs, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across our pocket-coil departments.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on technical leader who understands the unique mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical systems of Lian Rou equipment and can independently diagnose issues, implement corrective actions, and guide maintenance teams in best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Equipment Maintenance & Repair
- Perform advanced troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs on Lian Rou pocket-coil machines, including forming, welding, cutting, and assembly modules.
- Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance to ensure consistent machine performance and product quality.
- Rebuild, align, and calibrate mechanical assemblies, drive systems, and precision tooling.
- Identify root causes of mechanical failures and implement long-term corrective actions.
Technical Leadership
- Serve as the subject-matter expert for all Lian Rou equipment across the facility.
- Train and mentor maintenance technicians on proper repair techniques, safety procedures, and machine optimization.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to improve machine reliability and throughput.
Operational Support
- Support production teams during changeovers, machine startups, and process adjustments.
- Recommend and implement improvements to reduce downtime, enhance ergonomics, and increase operational efficiency.
- Maintain accurate documentation of repairs, PMs, parts usage, and equipment modifications.
Vendor & Project Coordination
- Work directly with Lian Rou technical support when needed for complex issues.
- Assist with installation, commissioning, and upgrades of new or rebuilt pocket-Coil equipment.
- Provide technical input for capital projects, equipment rebuilds, and component sourcing.
Qualifications
Required
- 5+ years of hands-on mechanical experience with Lian Rou pocket-coil machinery (or equivalent high-speed automated coil-forming equipment).
- Expert-level mechanical aptitude, including pneumatics, hydraulics, precision alignment, and mechanical drive systems.
- Strong ability to read mechanical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Proven track record of reducing downtime and improving machine performance.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and support a fast?paced manufacturing environment.
Preferred
- Experience supporting multiple production lines or multi-plant operations.
- Familiarity with PLC-controlled systems (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar).
- Welding, machining, or fabrication skills.
- Prior leadership or training experience.
Physical & Work Environment Requirements
- Ability to stand, bend, and work around machinery for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with moving equipment and moderate noise levels.
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs. as needed.
