HR Generalist
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the main HR contact for employees and support day-to-day HR operations.
- Maintain employee records, HR systems, and personnel files.
- Assist with recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, orientation, E-Verify, and new hire paperwork.
- Coordinate temporary labor and represent the company at job fairs/community events.
- Support benefits administration, payroll coordination, attendance tracking, FMLA, and ADA processes.
- Handle employee relations matters, complaints, investigations, and disciplinary support while maintaining confidentiality.
- Assist with performance reviews, employee training, and development initiatives.
- Promote employee engagement through recognition programs, team events, and workplace initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company HR policies and labor laws.
- Assist with audits, reporting, special projects, and other assigned duties.
Qualifications
- Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
- 2–3 years of HR experience required; manufacturing or food production experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred.
- Knowledge of HRIS systems, payroll processes, FMLA, ADA, and labor regulations.
- Strong communication, organizational, and conflict resolution skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work effectively in a team environment.
