Position Summary:
The Wastewater Treatment Supervisor oversees the daily operation of the wastewater treatment system at a food manufacturing facility. This role ensures all wastewater processes run efficiently and remain compliant with environmental regulations while supervising operators and coordinating maintenance activities.
Key Responsibilities:

Supervise daily wastewater treatment operations and staff

Ensure compliance with all environmental permits and regulations

Monitor treatment processes, chemical usage, and system performance

Review lab results and adjust processes as needed

Coordinate maintenance and repairs of pumps, blowers, and treatment equipment

Maintain operational logs and regulatory reports

Support environmental inspections and audits
Qualifications:
-
3+ years of wastewater treatment experience, preferably in manufacturing or food processing

Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred

Knowledge of biological treatment systems, pumps, and chemical dosing

Familiarity with environmental regulations and wastewater permits
-
Wastewater Operator License preferred
