Job Summary
A large manufacturing facility is seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician to support production by installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems and automated equipment. This role is responsible for ensuring plant machinery, control systems, and electrical infrastructure operate safely and efficiently to minimize downtime and support continuous production.
Key Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair industrial electrical systems including motors, drives, control panels, and power distribution systems

Troubleshoot and repair PLC-controlled equipment, sensors, relays, and automated production machinery

Diagnose electrical problems using multimeters, schematics, and diagnostic tools

Read and interpret electrical prints, schematics, and ladder logic diagrams

Install and troubleshoot VFDs, servo motors, and motor control circuits

Perform preventive maintenance on electrical components and manufacturing equipment

Assist with equipment upgrades, machine installations, and plant improvement projects

Ensure all work complies with NEC, OSHA, and plant safety standards

Work closely with maintenance and engineering teams to reduce equipment downtime
Qualifications
-
3+ years of industrial electrical experience in a manufacturing or production environment

Strong understanding of PLC troubleshooting (Allen Bradley, Siemens, or similar)

Experience with 480V 3-phase systems, motor controls, and industrial automation

Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints

Experience troubleshooting sensors, conveyors, robotics, or automated equipment preferred

Knowledge of VFDs, HMIs, and control systems

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications

Electrical certification, technical degree, or journeyman electrician license

Experience in high-speed manufacturing environments

Familiarity with preventive and predictive maintenance programs
