LARGE MANUFACTURING PLANT IN DUBUQUE IA IS LOOKING FOR A PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR / TEAM LEAD FOR THEIR 3RD SHIFT. LOOKING FOR SOMEONE IDEALLY OUT OF THE FOOD/BEVERAGE ENVIRONMENT. LOOKING FOR A STRONG LEADER WHO CAN HELP TRAIN AND DEVELOP PEOPLE. ALSO MUST BE HANDS ON AS WELL
SHIFT: MON-FRI 8PM-6AM WITH SOME WEEKENDS
SALARY: $70k-$82.5k WITH POTENTIAL TARGET BONUS DEPENDING ON KPIS
Team Leader / Production Supervisor – Nights
Location: Dubuque, IA
Salary: $70,000 – $82,500 annually + potential bonus
Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Team Leader / Production Supervisor to oversee night shift operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for leading production teams, driving performance, and ensuring safety, quality, and productivity standards are consistently met.
The ideal candidate is a strong leader who thrives on the production floor and is passionate about continuous improvement and team development.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and execute plant production processes during assigned shift

Supervise and develop team members to achieve production and quality goals

Ensure appropriate resources (materials, equipment, staffing) are available to meet production schedules

Support and drive continuous improvement initiatives in safety, quality, cost, and customer service

Maintain an engaged, team-oriented workforce focused on operational excellence

Spend approximately 80% of the shift on the production floor

Ensure compliance with safety and company policies
Qualifications
Required:
-
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Shift Lead, Shift Supervisor, Assistant Manager, or similar leadership role OR an Associate’s Degree
-
Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and decision-making skills
-
Demonstrated initiative and ability to influence others

Must be at least 18 years of age
-
Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship requirements
Training & Development
-
Approximately six weeks of hands-on training prior to departmental assignment
-
Virtual new employee orientation covering operations, products, and leadership development
-
Structured six-month operational training program while working on the job
Work Environment & Schedule
-
Night shift (most leaders begin on 2nd or 3rd shift)

Extended hours, including weekends, may be required
-
Work environments may include temperatures below 40°F and above 60°F
