LARGE MANUFACTURING PLANT IN DUBUQUE IA IS LOOKING FOR A PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR / TEAM LEAD FOR THEIR 3RD SHIFT. LOOKING FOR SOMEONE IDEALLY OUT OF THE FOOD/BEVERAGE ENVIRONMENT. LOOKING FOR A STRONG LEADER WHO CAN HELP TRAIN AND DEVELOP PEOPLE. ALSO MUST BE HANDS ON AS WELL

SHIFT: MON-FRI 8PM-6AM WITH SOME WEEKENDS

SALARY: $70k-$82.5k WITH POTENTIAL TARGET BONUS DEPENDING ON KPIS
 

Team Leader / Production Supervisor – Nights

Location: Dubuque, IA
Salary: $70,000 – $82,500 annually + potential bonus

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Team Leader / Production Supervisor to oversee night shift operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for leading production teams, driving performance, and ensuring safety, quality, and productivity standards are consistently met.

The ideal candidate is a strong leader who thrives on the production floor and is passionate about continuous improvement and team development.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute plant production processes during assigned shift

  • Supervise and develop team members to achieve production and quality goals

  • Ensure appropriate resources (materials, equipment, staffing) are available to meet production schedules

  • Support and drive continuous improvement initiatives in safety, quality, cost, and customer service

  • Maintain an engaged, team-oriented workforce focused on operational excellence

  • Spend approximately 80% of the shift on the production floor

  • Ensure compliance with safety and company policies


Qualifications

Required:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Shift Lead, Shift Supervisor, Assistant Manager, or similar leadership role OR an Associate’s Degree

  • Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and decision-making skills

  • Demonstrated initiative and ability to influence others

  • Must be at least 18 years of age

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship requirements


Training & Development

  • Approximately six weeks of hands-on training prior to departmental assignment

  • Virtual new employee orientation covering operations, products, and leadership development

  • Structured six-month operational training program while working on the job


Work Environment & Schedule

  • Night shift (most leaders begin on 2nd or 3rd shift)

  • Extended hours, including weekends, may be required

  • Work environments may include temperatures below 40°F and above 60°F
