LARGE MANUFACTURING COMPANY IN  VERSAILLES OH IS LOOKING FOR A 2ND SHIFT PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR. LOOKING FOR CANDIDATES WITH FOOD OR BEVERAGE MANUFACTURING EXPERIENCE

LOOKING FOR A STRONG HANDS-ON LEADER WHO CAN HELP TRAIN, DEVELOP AND COMMUNICATE TO THE TEAM

SHIFT: 2ND SHIFT MON-FRI 2PM-1130PM WITH EVERY OTHER WEEKEND AS OT (GET PAID FOR OT)

SALARY: $60K-$70K

BENEFITS KICK IN AFTER 90 DAYS
 

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and motivate production team members to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals

• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations including GMPs, HACCP, USDA/FDA requirements

• Monitor daily production schedules and adjust staffing or workflows to meet production targets

• Enforce company policies, safety rules, and sanitation standards at all times

• Conduct shift start-ups, line checks, and production meetings

• Track and report production metrics such as yield, downtime, scrap, and labor efficiency

• Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality Assurance, and Warehouse teams to resolve issues

• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for production or quality issues

• Complete required documentation accurately (production logs, safety reports, audits)

• Participate in employee evaluations, coaching, and disciplinary actions as needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred

• 3+ years of supervisory experience in food manufacturing or regulated manufacturing

• Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and quality systems

• Experience leading hourly production teams in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to read production schedules, SOPs, and quality documentation

• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

• Proficient with basic computer systems (ERP, production tracking, Microsoft Office)
