NEW OPENING WITH A MANUFACTURING PLANT IN BELLMAWR NJ. THEY ARE LOOKING FOR A STRONG PRODUCTION PLANNER OUT OF A FAST-PACED MANUFACTURING ENVIRONMENT. IDEALLY FOODS OR BEVERAGE.
PAY IS $76K-$80K SALARY
SHIFT: DAY SHIFT AVERAGE 50 HOUR WORK WEEK
SCOPE
Under the direction of the Supply Chain Manager, this position is responsible for creating and overseeing the production scheduling across the facility. The successful schedule will support the customer demand while delivering cost effective and quality driven production schedules.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
· Creating effective production schedules for all products, across all lines and shifts
· Effectively plan, organize, and evaluate production schedules to meet labor requirements and customer demands.
· Coordinating the manufacturing process to support product quality and waste goals.
· Analyzing forecasting data and adjust production schedules accordingly
· Implementing strategies to optimize productivity and efficiency
· Overseeing the workflow of the production facility
· Ensuring the promptness and accuracy of the production process
· Provide daily production schedules and update the schedules as needed
· Enter in Work Orders into B13 to accurately reflect production needs
· Coordinate with Sanitation and Maintenance for planned downtime
· Report Schedule Attainment performance
· Manage proper inventory levels for all products
· Delivery product on-time to fulfill customer orders to a target of 98% unit fill or higher
· Properly schedule products to lines improving efficiencies, quality and reduce downtime
· Monitor customer demand vs forecast, adjusting production as needed
· Collaborates with off-shift Operations Manager(s) to communicate changes and resolve operating differences to operate line(s) using single standardized processes
· Uses B13 to fullest ability to capture proper production information
KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS
· Strong leadership skills
· Self-starter with the ability to prioritize, organize, and simplify
· Working knowledge of production processes, scheduling and staffing management
· Ability to challenge the status quo and work effectively with a wide array of plant personnel
· Demonstrated expertise in multi-tasking, handling projects and meeting deadlines in a complex manufacturing environment.
· Strong English written and verbal communication skills
· Strong analytical and decision making skills
· Proficient in computer skills (Microsoft excel, word, outlook and experience with ERP systems)
· Knowledge of OSHA regulations, HACCP and Food GMPs (in a bakery environment preferred)

EDUCATION
· BS degree in relevant technical field preferred
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
· 3+ years experience in manufacturing operations with demonstrated leadership preferred
