Job Description

PMs, repairs, and installs of production equipment, facility plant equipment
Perform scheduled maintenance on all plant and production equipment, and respond to correct equipment mechanical and electrical issues.
Troubleshoot, repair, and replace defective/worn equipment parts, control devices, motors, belts, and pneumatic/hydraulic systems.
Operate machine shop equipment, lathe, mill, grinders, drill press, etc.
Proficient in use of welding equipment – gas/MIG/TIG.
Occasional painting, carpentry, sheetrock and flooring, lighting change-outs (interior, exterior) as needed.
In-depth knowledge of boilers/environmental stability control room systems.
Perform lab equipment installation, PMs, calibration, and repairs.
In-depth and demonstrated knowledge of PLCs, use Ladder logic (minor code changes)
Follow all OSHA safety rules, policies and regulations.
Perform equipment changeovers. Able to train others and improve changeover tact times.
In-depth and demonstrated knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and fire protection systems.
Read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics and drawings.
Effectively communicate shift/daily pass downs, ability to train others in safe and proper use of aerial lifts.

Education:

Required- High school diploma or GED equivalent
Preferred- AS Degree in Industrial Maintenance Technology/Mechatronics, and/or Electrical/Electronics, HVAC-R training/education with license/certifications, Electrical license/certifications
