PROCESSING SUPERVISOR OPENING IN ARLINGTON TX. LOOKING FOR SOMONE WITH HANDS-ON EXPERIENCE IN PLASTIC PROCESSING

LOOKING FOR SOMEONE OUT OF PLASTICS MANUFACTURING 

THIS IS A 3RD SHIFT ROLE: 1030PM-7AM

SALARY: $85K-$108K WITH A 3% TARGET BONUS
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Plant Supervisors and Managers to address daily challenges, set priorities, and resolve issues effectively.

  • Lead daily meetings with outgoing and incoming supervisors to align priorities and enhance operational efficiency.

  • Collect, analyze, and report daily production data to monitor performance and identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Manage indirect labor, scrap, and downtime to minimize manufacturing variances and optimize productivity.

  • Provide daily visibility on downtime, scrap, changes, and resin deviations to ensure transparency and accountability.

  • Participate in daily labor meetings to identify inefficiencies and address quality-related topics.

  • Coordinate with planning teams to schedule major tool and machine repairs, minimizing production disruption.

  • Partner with engineering, maintenance, and operations teams to optimize processes related to molds, changeovers, and machine improvements.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Directly supervise technical employees in the Technical Departments on the assigned shift.

  • Enforce organizational policies and applicable laws in supervisory practices.

  • Serve as backup to the Production Supervisor as needed.

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required).

  • 5+ years of related experience and training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Proven background in supervising technical teams in a manufacturing environment.
