MAINTENANCE MANAGER OPENING IN ESCONDIDO CA WITH A FOOD MANUFACTURING PLANT. WE ARE LOOKING FOR A STRONG LEADER WHO COMES OUT OF A FOOD MANUFACTURING PLANT AND ALSO SOMEONE WHO CAN SPEAK SPANISH. LOOKING FOR A HANDS-ON LEADER WHO IS NOT AFRAID TO JUMP IN WHEN NEEDED.
MUST HAVE A BS DEGREE IN ENGINEERING
SALARY RANGE: $130K-$150K
Maintenance Manager
- Plan, coordinate, schedule, and manage plant maintenance operations across all company facilities to meet production requirements and minimize equipment downtime.

Lead a team in maintaining, repairing, and installing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, refrigeration, steam, and utility systems.

Supervise preventive maintenance programs, inspections, and component replacements to ensure maximum equipment effectiveness.

Maintain and modify PLC programs, ensuring reliability and adaptability to production demands.

Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements, including hazardous materials, storm water, wastewater, and air pollution controls.

Oversee facility expansion, equipment installation, and major repair projects, including planning, budgeting, permitting, contractor management, and code compliance.

Support engineering in developing, upgrading, testing, and starting up new equipment to meet production standards.

Manage spare parts inventory to meet production needs while controlling costs.

Conduct safety inspections and lead corrective projects to address safety deficiencies.

Develop and manage the department’s annual budget.

Train team members on SQF food safety, quality, and defense requirements.

Troubleshooting & Repair: Electrical, pneumatic, steam, refrigeration, processing, packaging, sanitation, load handling equipment.

Computer Skills: CMMS, Microsoft Word & Excel, AutoCAD/SolidWorks.

Purchasing: Create and process purchase orders for parts and services.

Leadership: Team development, morale building, and effective communication.

Decision-Making: Analyze complex information and make critical operational decisions.
