Qualifications

Education & Experience:

  • BSN required (or currently enrolled in BSN/MSN program with graduation within three years)

  • BLS certification required

  • ACLS certification required

  • National certification within three years of hire

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills

  • Proficiency in nursing principles, equipment, and current care standards

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Knowledge of accreditation standards and compliance requirements

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift, push, and assist patients or equipment up to 50 lbs

  • Frequent standing, walking, and patient positioning

  • Clear hearing and vision to respond to alarms, monitor patients, and communicate effectively


Responsibilities

  • Assess patients, prioritize needs, and implement appropriate nursing interventions

  • Administer medications and monitor patient responses

  • Collaborate with physicians and the care team to develop and implement patient care plans

  • Educate patients and families on treatment plans, discharge instructions, and health maintenance

  • Document care accurately and maintain compliance with hospital and state regulations
