Must have plcs, vfds, 480v and mechanical experience.
Schedule:
2nd shift (3pm-1130pm)
Pay Rate: $35-$44 hourly (DOE)
Shift differential of $1.50 from 6pm-6am
Benefits kick in first of the month after hire
Job Description: Electro Mechanic
Duties, Responsibilities and Abilities:
Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical/electrical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on PLC”s, VFD drives, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and
production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.
? Preventive maintenance, general service and up keep of all related equipment.
? Work at high evolutions on ladders or mechanical lifts.
? Diagnose problems, repair or replace parts, test and make adjustments as needed to maintain equipment.
? Reads and interprets equipment manuals and schematics to perform required maintenance service.
? Troubleshooting of electrical/mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments. Volt/amp meter etc.
? Remove defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools; examining form and texture of parts.
? Determine changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts; using rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.
? Conserve maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
? Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
? Ensures all maintenance and repair activities are in compliance with OSHA, Federal, Local and plant safety standards.
? Investigates equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation, and to make recommendations
? Actively participates in assigned plant safety related initiatives.
? Prioritization and completion of assigned maintenance service requests.
? Responsible for reading, understanding and interpretation of blueprints, sketches and drawings.
? Assist in the management of spare parts inventory.
? Provide proper documentation of daily maintenance activities utilizing computer maintenance management system.
Minimum Job Requirements:
? 3 year experience working with food manufacturing equipment.
? 3 year experience troubleshooting and maintaining Electrical and mechanical systems.
Education/Certifications:
? Educated or skilled in mechanical, electrical and hydraulic repairs.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
? Must have a strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
? Ability to perform electrical troubleshooting/repairs on PLC, relay logic and logic controllers, 480v, 220v, 110v AC single/three phase and DC systems.
? Ability to perform mechanical repairs that include hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
? Have the ability to operate a computer to support and record documentation in our Computer maintenance management system.
