LARGE MANUFACTURING COMPANY IN RENTON, WA IS LOOKING FOR A STRONG MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN/ELECTRO MECHANIC TYPE WITH STRONG PLC TROUBLESHOOTING BACKGROUND INSIDE PANELS. MOSTLY ALLEN BRADLEY AND SOME SIEMENS
LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO IS VERY STRONG ELECTRICALLY. MUST BE COMFORTABLE WORKING WITH 480V, TROUBLESHOOTING PLCS, WIRING MOTORS, ETC.
Shift: 4 Day M-TH (9am-7pm)
$34-37HR MUST BE 50/50 ELECTRICAL MECHANICAL WITH STRONG PLC TROUBLESHOOTING SKILLS.
JOB DESCRIPTION: Maintenance Technician
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, servicing, and troubleshooting equipment and site property; making adjustments and/or mechanical/electrical repairs to the machines and equipment in a safe, efficient manner.
You Will
· Use your knowledge of RS Logix 500, 5000, computer networking, HMI, and robotics to repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment such as electric, motor, pneumatic, conveyor systems, vision systems, production equipment, and plant support machines
· Program Allen Bradley PLCs, HMI's, Vision Systems, and networking
· Engineer MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures) improvements
· Grow your knowledge and skills through a wide variety of training & on-the-job experiences
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
•Pass background check, drug screen, physical, & aptitude testing
•General knowledge of electrical prints, pneumatic pumps and hydraulic systems.
•Able to read prints and troubleshoot with prints.
•Be able to weld- stick and wire feed welder.
•Must have own tools and be able to bring and use on the job.
•High school diploma or GED.
•Related college degree and/or appropriate technical courses or Associate’s (A.A.) degree
•Minimum 3 years’ experience in related field
Candidates are PREFERRED who offer the following:
•Prior work experience in the corrugated industry, Flexo-Graphic, Maintenance field
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Able to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations. Ability to effectively present information, respond to questions with supervision and coworkers.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Employee is regularly required to walk and talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Vision requirements include: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
