nHOURLY RATE: $22.97-$26 HOURLY

nWE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE THAT CAN TROUBLESHOOT MECHANICAL AND ELECTRICAL ISSUES ON MANUFACTURING EQUIPMENT, TROUBLESHOOT PLCS, WORK WITH GEARBOXES, VFDS, HYDRAULICS, PNEUMATICS, WORK UP TO 480V, ETC.

nPosition Summary

Repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment such as engines, motors pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines and equipment by performing the following duties.
n

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

nn

 

nn

    nt

  • Observes mechanical devices in operation and listens to their sounds to locate causes of trouble.nt
  • Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts.nt
  • Examines form and texture or parts to detect imperfections.nt
  • Inspects used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements.nt
  • Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments.nt
  • Repairs or replaces defective parts. Installs special functional and structural parts in devices. Lubricates and cleans parts.nt
  • Starts devices to test their performance.nt
  • Sets up and operates lathe, drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools to make and repair parts.nt
  • Initiates purchase request for parts and machines. Repairs electrical equipment.nt
  • Performs other duties and/ or responsibilities as assigned.n

nEducation and Experience:

  • Less than high school education; one (1) year related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.n
