nWill work at a Brownsville plant. Will be over 2 people, it's a small site as there are 30 there in the whole company. About 45 minutes north of Eugene OR, good benefits. There are plenty of hikes, it's a mountainesque area, 2 hours south of Portland, small town feel in a very small town. Eligible for benefits 30 days after your first full month of employment.n

Maintenance Manager Primary Objectives:

• The Maintenance Manager ensures safety of Lignetics and contract personnel through use of best safety practices (LOTO, confined space, electrical safety, Safety Concern Forms, incident investigation, etc.)nt
• Responsible for the maintenance operations concerned with the installation and repair of all machinery and other mechanical and electrical equipment used in the production operation.nt
• Maintain a preventative maintenance program to ensure safe working conditions, minimal production downtime, and equipment sustainabilitynt
• Maintain inventories and order parts, as needed, for equipmentnt
• Consult, obtain bids, and work closely with outside contractorsnt
• Supervise and train Millwrights and LME apprentice to troubleshoot all equipment on plant sitent
• Manage and participate in the rebuild or repair of pellet mills, conveyors, screws, gearboxes, chains using hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical troubleshooting skillsnt
• Prioritize and delegate maintenance schedules and activities, track production down time, schedule maintenance days and weekend projectsnt
• Drive improvement in all maintenance systems by learning and supporting the Maintenance Excellence programnt
• Provide regular reports to Plant Manager regarding safety and maintenance concerns and projectsnt
• Participate in employee performance management, hiring, disciplinary and termination meetingsnt

nMaintenance Manager Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:nn

• High School diploma or GED requirednt
• Limited Maintenance Electrician (LME) card preferrednt
• Journeyman Millwright card preferrednt
• Minimum 5 years of experience in journeyman level millwright or equivalent experiencent
• PLC knowledge a plusnt
• Basic understanding of electrical conceptsnt
• Project planning & implementation, PM program experience, and supervisory experience preferrednt
• Experience developing/implementation/managing PM programs preferrednt
• Basic knowledge of computers (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)n

nWorking Conditions:
nThe Maintenance Manager will spend time in the plant working on equipment and/or directing his team to complete projects or repairs. In addition, office time will be used for planning, scheduling, and reporting.n

• Will need to lift up to 50 pounds on occasionnt
• Will need to walk, climb ladders, stoop, kneel, or crouch to inspect site conditions as needednt
• Must be able to wear personal protective equipment including eye and ear protection, respiratory protective gear, fall prevention harnesses, and other gear that may be required for access to certain areas of a Lignetics facilitynt
• Good reasoning and problem-solving skillsnt
• Will be exposed to slippery surfaces, pinch points, trip and fall hazards, and overhead obstaclesnt
• Must be able to work under a variety of weather conditionsn
