LEAD ELECTRO MECHANIC OPENINGS IN TEMPE AZ AT A LARGE BEVERAGE MANUFACTURING PLANT. LOOKING FOR STRONG LEAD ELECTRO MECHANICS WITH PLC TROUBLESHOOTING SKILLS, EXP leading techs, and working alongside supervisor to get PMs done.

nJOB DESCRIPTION:
nLEAD MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

n
nResponsibilities
n
nAdhere to all health and safety policies/procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE) while in the warehouse or production areas (including but not limited to hairnets/beard nets, safety glasses, hearing protection, steel toe boots and seatbelts while operating forklifts)
n
nResponsible to adhere to food quality and food safety as per quality standards and/or Safe Quality Food requirements
n
nPlans and performs complex corrective and preventative maintenance requiring a thorough knowledge of mechanical theories and principles
n
nEnsure all upgrades for equipment are complaints with Occupational Health & Safety Act
n
nMinimize down time ensuring replacement/spare parts are available through proper preventative maintenance management by adhering to manufacturer’s guidelines
n
nAssist in scheduling maintenance personnel to cover production line maintenance needs
n
nContributes to measurable improvements in scheduled, unscheduled and break down maintenance related down time and the costs associated with these events to contribute to CPC (cost per case) goals for each plant and shares best practices across and within the enterprise
n
nReview daily preventative maintenance (PM) sheets and schedule work accordingly
n
nReview any changes made to production line and make necessary changes to work orders
n
nCoordinate and address equipment failure in a timely manner, in order to minimize the downtime
n
nSupport Electricians and Mechanics with machine issues on the production floor
n
nAssist in training of Electricians/Mechanics on production equipment and maintain Lockout/Tag out Program
n
nCoordinate and monitor Preventative Maintenance program
n
nCoordinate parts requirement with Parts Coordinator
n
nCheck mail folder in Parts Room for any pertinent messages
n
nExecute the escalation process, if downtime exceeds plant targets and there is an issue solving the problem
n
nParticipate in Continuous Improvement Projects, and support initiatives with technical expertise
n
nPhysical-Continuously standing or walking
n
nMental Stress- There is pronounced pressure from deadlines, production quotas, accuracy or similar demand”
