Job Description: Plant Electrical Mechanical Technician 
nMUST HAVES:
n40% MECHANICAL & 60% ELECTRICAL 
nELECTRO MECHANICAL SKILLS
nSOME PLC EXP WOULD BE GREAT
nFACILITIES MAINTENANCE EXP IS A MUST AS WELL. 
nSALARY: $28/hr-$34/hr
nLOCATION: Gloucester City, NJ
nNon union
nWill start on 2nd Shift during peak season: 4pm-2:30am with O/T may work 12 hours shifts from time to time.
nM-F with weekends as needed
nSeason is June -End of Oct
nOnce season ends more of a “Facility Maintenance Mechanic”
nThey use Baumer machines

Overview:

Repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment such as engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines and equipment by performing the following duties.

nn

Here’s what you’ll do:

• Observes mechanical devices in operation and listens to their sounds to locate causes of trouble.nt
• Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts.nt
• Examines form and texture of parts to detect imperfections.nt
• Adjusts and/or repairs all equipment in the department.nt
• Inspects used parts to determine dimensional changes.nt
• Adjusts functional parts of equipment and control devices.nt
• Repairs or replaces defective parts.nt
• Installs special functional and structural parts in devices.nt
• Lubricates and cleans parts.nt
• Starts devices to test their performance.nt
• Sets up and operates lathe, drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools to make and repair parts.nt
• Inspects product for all defects and records results on required forms. Informs supervisor if any defects are found.nt
• Troubleshoots and repairs basic electrical equipment.nt
• Documents all work done on work orders per established procedures.nt
• Welds/fabricates equipment and components.nt
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.nt
• Observes all rules of safety.nt
• Other duties as assigned.n

• Typical Maintenance Mechanic I will have three to five years maintenance experience in a manufacturing/food processing environment. nt
• High school diploma or equivalent required. nt
• Trade school/occupational training desired but not required.n
