nJob Description: Maintenance Manager

Responsibilities

Manage breakdowns/troubleshoot/schedule maintenance needs as equipment fails or as production plan changes.nt
- Engineering evaluation of problem (s).ntt
- Determine the best course of action for equipment repair considering efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality.nt
ntnt
Manage the department budget and CAPX (capital expenditures) budget.nt
Allocate spending/approve invoices by the department and by CAPXnt
Develop CAPX projects for plant needs for the Fiscal Year.nt
Plan and generate purchase orders, and order spare parts/CAPX as required.nt
Manage contractors and administer contracts for CAPX projects as approved.nt
Schedule Maintenance staff for 24 hr/day 7 day week operation/line coverage and preventative maintenance.nt
Plan, delegate, and control work assignments.nt
Manage department performance measures, including visual controls, and provide regular progress reports to the manager.nt
Direct maintenance employees in proper operational procedures.nt
Perform other duties as assigned or required.n

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent is preferrednt
7+ years of shop floor experience in a manufacturing environment including leadership experiencent
Experience with ammonia and the PSM Standard preferred.nt
Maintenance/Engineering expertise in hydraulics, mechanics, process, and electrical functions of the equipment.nt
Excellent leadership and communication skillsnt
Computer literate with proficiency in Excel and Word for spreadsheets and reports.nt
Programmable Logic Controls (PLC) electrical troubleshooting knowledgen
