MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN OPENING WITH A LARGE FOOD MANUFACTURING PLANT IN HOOD RIVER OREGON. LOOKING FOR A MULTI CRAFT TECHNICIAN ON A MID SHIFT. THIS IS DIRECT HIRE AND PAYS ANYWHERE FROM 30-34HR DEPENDING ON HOW WELL YOU INTERVIEW.

nNight Shift (Swing Shift):  5:30pm-2am (10hour shifts)
nElectro- Mechanics
nWill end up on night shift after training on Day Shift
nWIll then move to a AWSK Schedule: 2-3-2 Every other week off
nPay: $30/hr-$34/hr 
n$1.25 Shift Differential on night shift
n$1.00 Weekend 
n$100 on call payment if called in on off duty hours

nJOB DESCRIPTION:   Electro-Mechanic
n
nThis position will be responsible for performing a vast array of highly diversified duties that includes installation, troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance of all equipment, machinery, and buildings.
n
nResponsible for completing all assignments in a manner that pro-actively supports all overall company goals and objectives; this includes safety, quality, and productivity initiatives.

Responsibilities include:

• Assist with preventative maintenance, maintenance repairs and troubleshooting of plant equipment.nt
• Complete assigned work orders and PM tasks in a timely and efficient manner.nt
• Basic electrical, hydraulic, and compressed air systems understanding.nt
• Interact with Vendors/Contractors during equipment installs and troubleshooting.nt
• Identify equipment improvement opportunities to increase operation effectiveness and efficiencies.nt
• Work with members of the maintenance department to keep equipment and facility running smoothly and safely.nt
• Must be able to work independently and in mutli-department teams.nt
• Use hand and power tools in a safe and effective manner.nt
• General clean-up and housekeeping of maintenance area/equipment/tools.nt
• Present an open and friendly attitude toward all employees.nt
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and adjust priorities.nt
• Understanding and following oral and written directions.nt
• Make accurate arithmetic calculationsn
