“Plant in Pennsauken NJ they need 3 Electro- Mechanic's on night shift food mechanics. PLC Troubleshooting, Hydraulics rebuild pumps motors and so on!!! Night shift 7PM to 7am every other weekend off!!! Looking for a strong mechanic with stable work history pay is 28-32 an hour plus A $1.50HR SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL !!!

nJOB DESCRIPTION: Maintenance Mechanic
n
nMISSION:
nA) Support Production Activities
n• Work closely with production and quality teams to keep production going
n• Perform emergency repairs in a timely manner
n• Capable of performing mechanical and electrical troubleshooting including control systems
n
n
nB) Execute work
n• Execute PM work as directed by maintenance supervisor and lead
n• Work in a self-sufficient manner; complete PM work without production interruption
n• Follow the direction of Manager, Supervisor, and Leads
n• Direct actions as necessary to ensure safety
n
nC) Operate the boiler
n• NJ Blue Seal – Steam is a plus
n
nIII. KEY TASKS
n1. Maintenance Mechanic:
n• Completing Assigned PM’s
n• Making required repairs
n• Daily walk through\
n• Autonomous Maintenance Activities
n• Fabrication of components, tools and equipment
n
n2. Software Systems
n• CMMS- Work order entry, completion, requisition, inventory
n• SAP- Purchase requisitions
n
n3. Process Systems
n• Must be prepared to learn about new and existing processing systems
n• Become a resource to help engineering team execute small projects
n• Food Manufacturing-GMP Environment Experience desired
n• Experience working on and around Sanitary Systems
n• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, and controls equipment.
n• Operation, troubleshoot, and repair of Steam, Refrigeration, and Wastewater systems
n• Experience working with pumps, gearboxes, and steam traps
n• Ability to work on electrical systems including motors, drives, PLC’s, HMI’s pressure, temperature, flow and other control instruments and devices
n• Capable of fabricating components, tools, and equipment
n• Stainless Steel and Sanitary Welding skills is a plus
n
n4. PM System Implementation
n• Perform PM work as directed by supervisor and leads
n• Perform PM work in a self-directed manner based on work orders from CMMS
n• Document activities in CMMS and log books
n• Schedule PM work to avoid production interruption
n
n5. Safety
n• LOTO
n• Working at elevated heights
n• Capable of operating Fork trucks, Lifts, etc
n• Hot Work
nIV. FOOD SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES
nReport all food safety and quality issues to immediate Supervisor and / or head of Quality and take immediate action as appropriate within the team as defined by Quality procedures.
n1. Experience working in a GMP environment
n2. Food manufacturing experience
n3. CIP system experience
nV. AUTHORITY DURING EXTENDED ABSENCE
nDuring an extended absence of the Maintenance Supervisor the Maintenance Mechanic will report directly to the Shift Lead.

nV. EDUCATIONAL & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

n1. 5+ years mechanical maintenance experience
n2. Excellent mechanical ability
n3. Electrical – controls background
n4. Strong trouble shooting skills
n5. Strong administrative skills- must be able to quickly and effectively learn new software programs
n6. Welding and fabrication experience
n7. Boiler experience- Blue Seal Boiler License is a plus
n8. Excellent Communication Skills
n9. Must be able to lift 50 lbs.”
