nJob description
nWe are seeking a Blow Molding Technician with demonstrated experience in blow molding to contribute towards company’s existing and future product line. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a revolutionary product that signals the end of single-use plastic.

nAmong other tasks, you will:
n n

    nt

  • Ensure compliance with plant safety standards and with applicable laws and regulations issued by regulatory agencies
  • nt

  • Operate blow-mold machines (preferred shuttle machines) to ensure production of quality bottles and perform audits, weights and quality checks
  • nt

  • Adhere to quality control and to blow mold process procedure
  • nt

  • Troubleshoot and perform minor repair on blow-mold and support equipment to resolve process issues
  • nt

  • Make adjustments to process or machine to meet product specifications
  • nt

  • Repair fittings or replace pneumatic and hydraulic lines
  • nt

  • Assist with preventive maintenance, blow mold, neck inserts, blow pin, and other mechanical equipment
  • nt

  • Grind excess bottle and material Identify maintenance needs and document equipment repairs
  • nt

  • Train other employees
  • nt

  • Prepare & document daily production reports, including process parameters, quality data, line efficiencies, scrap, and other
  • nt

  • Perform other duties as assigned by leadership
  • n

nA strong candidate will have the following abilities, qualifications, and experiences:
n n

    nt

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Associate degree preferred.
  • nt

  • Formal training in the area of EBM or machine operation.
  • nt

  • 1-3 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
  • n

nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts in a production environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
nTemperatures inside the plant can fluctuate between hot and cold according to seasonal changes. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required in the production department and other designated areas.
