High speed liquid fill operation (Salad dressings, syrups, beverages etc.)

You will be responsible for ensuring operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements on motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production lines. Locates sources of equipment problems by observing mechanical devices in operation, using precision measuring and testing instruments. Removes defective parts by dismantling devices; using hand/power tools; examining form and texture of parts. Controls downtime by working with and training line operators. Fabricates repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.

Qualifications:
nHigh school diploma or equivalent. Good verbal and written communication skills. Minimum of five years maintenance mechanic experience for food or cosmetic manufacturer. Experience with fillers, bottlers, cappers, conveyors, blenders, labelers, pumps in food manufacturing. Demonstrated ability to follow diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer’s instructions, and engineering specifications. Mechanical aptitude and strong electrical background. Basic math skills. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able to work weekends as needed.
