Description

  • Reporting to the Director of Manufacturing the Senior Manufacturing Maintenance Manager oversees the daily maintenance activities while coaching his leadership team and driving a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Other duties will include capital projects including capital budgeting and the purchase and installation of equipment and facility improvements while recommending and contributing to strategic engineering initiatives while implementing and driving a robust management process.

 

What You Will Do:

  • Assist with the development of the annual and long-term capital projects for new equipment and facilities maintenance and improvements.
  • Responsible for managing and training employees on capex approval process Work with vendors and engineering companies to design and engineer the installation of any new equipment.
  • Oversee the successful installation and start-up of new equipment including establishing Commissioning/Qualification/Validation (CQV) standards and ensuring vendor compliance inclusive of all relevant documentation
  • Work with the maintenance team and other plant leadership to develop and implement improvements to plant equipment
  • Ability to identify and implement training plans to upskill team members to appropriate levels
  • Maintain and update Layout and installation drawings of the facilities and equipment
  • Assist with the development of the Maintenance Department annual budget.
  • Support the Maintenance Department with its approach to ensure they operates within its budget
  • Work with the Maintenance supervisors and maintenance planner to develop and maintain a Preventive Maintenance Program for all production and facilities equipment.
  • Work with the Maintenance Planner to implement and maintain the Computerized Maintenance Management System for parts inventory management, work order and preventive maintenance management and labor tracking.
  • Work with his team and OEM’s to develop the roadmap to predictive maintenance Responsible for regulatory permit renewals. Including BAAQMD, Storm Water & HMBP

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or similar field 5-7 yrs. experience in a maintenance department and capital project management in a manufacturing environment Highly proficient leadership skills with emphasis on strong communications Demonstrated experience implementing processes and executing results
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, make recommendations, and draw conclusions.
  • Strong skills in mechanical, electrical, and general troubleshooting.
  • Ability to create, read and understand blueprints, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic diagrams
  • Computer proficiency
  • Ability to accurately assess mechanical problems, make recommendations, communicate effectively, and resolve issues quickly while working under pressure.
