Job Description: Inventory Control Manager

SUMMARY
    
The inventory control manager will handle product management and distribution and develop a comprehensive inventory tracking system to streamline our business. The main responsibilities of this position include meeting inventory goals, managing tracking systems and acting as a liaison to other departments. The Inventory Control Manager will offer recommendations to ensure ideal level of inventory in all warehouses and all aspects of our operations.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES    •    Ensure employee safety guidelines are always being followed. 
•    Ensure inventory accuracy in our inventory management system.
•    Ensure proper organization of raw materials across the building.
•    Ensure warehouse cleanliness and recording of performed cleaning procedures in the master log.  
•    Daily analysis of the receiving schedule to create plan of material put away for storage.
•    Analyze the production schedule to identify potential raw material shortage issues.
•    Supervise activities performed by material handlers across 3 shifts.
•    Provide coverage in all areas of the distribution center, including Receiving, Stocking and inventory warehouse.
•    Coach, mentor and develop existing employees to help resolve performance problems and improve on existing strengths.
•    Develop and implement inventory control procedures and best practices.
•    Develop and implement material staging and replenishment procedures for each production line needs.
•    Perform root cause analysis of inventory variances and implement corrective actions.

QUALIFICATIONS 
    •    3+ years’ experience in inventory, distribution, and operational procedures.
•    2+ years’ supervisory experience
•    Able to multi-task and work independently.
•    Proven leadership skills.
•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•    In-depth understanding of distribution workplaces.
•    Experience with ERP systems, SAP preferred.
•    Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & Power Point).
•    Ability to lift 75 pounds and climb stairs, stretch and bend.

EDUCATION, LICENSES, AND CERTIFICATION  REQUIREMENTS    •   High school degree of equivalent.
•    Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred.
•    Voluntary certifications.
