Need a Utility Worker in a small Flour mill, starting rate is $18.53/hr,  7 am – 3:30 pm, at least 6 days a weeks (only until they increase their headcount and then everyone will be on 5 day workweek with 8 hour shifts) with off days during the week, time and half on Sat, double time on Sun, 5-10% yearly bonus average based on EDITDA, there is typically a 3% pay bump every January. Candidate should understand the dynamics of what they’re trying to do, need someone who’s tough and smart.

Essential Job Duties:

· Maintains essential plant equipment

· Cleans and prepares rail cars for loading

· Trains in different job functions around the plant

· Routinely observes and reports to the Dept. manager information she/he needs to ensure the preservation of the physical facility, including all utilities, pumps, compressors, boilers, roofs, etc.

· Ability to run analytical tests to ensure the product is within specification

· Ensures equipment stays in optimal repair and knows when to shut down to perform maintenance activities

· Ability to tell when to turn down rail care that is out of specification on cleaning

· Performs other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

Education: H.S. diploma or GED

Experience: Work in a manufacturing environment is preferred, but not required. Working with rail cars a plus.

Attention to details are a must.

Other (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):

Ability to stand for particularly sustained periods of time; frequent walking, reaching, pulling, stooping, lifting, pushing, grasping, climbing, and balancing. Ability to understand, remember, and apply instructions; ability to apply common sense in performing job duties along with making decisions and communicating.

Overtime is consistent, and candidates can expect an average of 65 hour work weeks. There is opportunity and potential for development and growth, and company is seeking a dedicated and driven individual for the position. A flexible schedule is required.

Pay: $18.53 to $22.00 per hour starting rate DOE
