ELECTRICAL MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN OPENING !!!!!
MANUFACTURING FOOD PLANT IN SISTERS OREGON LOOKING FOR A SOLID ELECTRO MECHANIC
1st This position will work four 10-hour shifts, Wednesday-Saturday. 6am-4pm
PAY RANGE:25-30 NO HIGHER
LOCATION: SISTERS OREGON ABOUT 3 HOURS FROM PORTLAND
LOOKING FOR A COMBINATION OF PLC TROUBLESHOOTING SKILLS, WELDING FABRICATION, TIG & MIG FORSURE. FOOD OR BEVERAGE MANUFACTURING REQUIRED.
4+ years relevant experience in an automated manufacturing environment, food manufacturing a big plus
Strong Preventive/Predictive maintenance knowledge and experience
Ability to work from layout plans, blue prints, drawings or other specifications to determine work procedures
Demonstrated working knowledge of lock out tag out
Job Description: Maintenance Technician
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining manufacturing equipment at optimum efficiency.
They use their troubleshooting skills and experience to prevent and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and other problems that may occur.
The successful candidate has experience with setup, installation, troubleshooting, repair, and testing of production equipment: including plant machinery and mechanical equipment such as engines, motors,
conveyor systems, and crusher equipment.
This position will work four 10-hour shifts, Wednesday-Saturday. Starting pay is $25 – $29/hour based on relevant experience with growth opportunities and competitive benefits, including employer paid medical insurance and employee equity.
? Comply with safety, environmental, and quality requirements established by external and internal regulations.
? Perform preventive and corrective maintenance
? Fabricate, troubleshoot, maintain, repairs, and rebuild key process equipment in a way that ensures equipment is safe to operate and maximizes equipment’s useful life.
? Read, write, and understand equipment drawings and blueprints.
? Assess repairs and estimate time frames to complete repairs in a timely manner.
? Learn to run any piece of equipment so that test runs can be performed for each machine on which repairs are made.
? Communicate directly and professionally with operators about how equipment is running and learn about any problems and with management for escalations, project updates,
? Effectively manage and plan work so as to accomplish all job tasks without having direct supervision on all matters.
? Responsible for keeping equipment, work area and tools clean, orderly and in good working condition.
? Other duties in any area requested by Supervisor

? Lifting (up to 55 lbs.)
? Exposure to coconut allergen
? Wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as needed
