12 hour rotating shift (DuPont schedule)
? Must have at least 2-3 years’ mechanical and/or electrical experience in an industrial environment OR technical training/certification.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
? Support all plant operations by identifying and resolving mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues; follow direction of Shift Foreman as it relates designating machine priority and allocation of resources.
? Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on all plant-wide equipment including, but not limited to, primary production equipment, secondary production equipment such as lehrs, stemware, and décor machines, batch & furnace equipment, robots and packaging/shipping equipment.
? Clean, inspect and diagnose equipment or part failures to determine root cause.
? Assist with setup and startup of plant-wide equipment; support Mechanics & Set Up personnel with Job Changes.
? Restart equipment and valves in case of power dip or failures.
? Use hoist, cranes, hand tools and power tools to dismantle and reassemble parts and or machines; use typical mechanic’s tools and inspection gauges.
? Assist and train co-workers when needed.
? Complete routine paperwork and computer work as required; send daily shift notes with detailed information.
? Keep equipment and work area in a safe, clean and orderly condition.

? Basic electrical knowledge to include understanding of PLC and VFD control equipment (110,220,480 VAC, 24VDC/controlled).
? Excellent trouble shooting skills.
? Good mechanical skills, basic knowledge of robotic arms, ability to use basic hand tools.
? Able to torch and weld.
? Able to read electrical drawings and troubleshoot mechanical issues for a variety of equipment.
? Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
? Able to start, stop and operate all plant equipment.
? Able to work on ladders, scaffolds and in pits.
? Able to work with Window’s based programs.
? Effective verbal and written communication skills.
? Ability to pass mechanical aptitude test.
? Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 75 lbs.
? Ability to carry up to 50 lbs.
? Must be able to work at elevated heights and in high temperatures.
? Must be able to work 12-hour shifts; able to work shift work and able to work overtime when necessary, sometimes on short notice.
