Quality Technician – day shift (7 am – 3 pm or 8 am – 4 pm, there is flexibility)
$25hr – $31/hr depending on experience
Should have more experience running the lab equipment, have the ability to run a DSC (take a polymer and heat it and stretch it, it’s a comparator system), work with calipers, basic equipment, raw material inspection, start up facilities experience is a plus, ability to read drawings and specs. Blow mold experience is great but a diamond in the rough Quality Tech with a good attitude will be looked at. Can grow into a Quality Manager role, want someone who’s really ready to grow, they want a very detailed, inspired person who wants to grow.
Can do a sign on bonus, there is immediate vacation time which is flexible and depends on your experience. Primarily Mon – Fri work week, maybe one or two Saturdays. Prefers onsite interviews to walk you through the equipment, this is a completely biodegradable process, the onboarding process is very fast.
We are seeking a Quality Technician to inspect machined parts for workmanship and conformance to engineering-approved sketches, drawings, and specifications. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a revolutionary product that signals the end of single-use plastic.
Among other tasks, you will:
? Provide technical support to the quality engineering functions
? Conduct examinations and quality control inspections on products, materials, components and parts at various stages of the production process, to ensure compliance with established quality and reliability standards.
? Perform first article inspections at the machine or decorating area and provide an accept-or-reject decision.
? Prepare and maintain required inspection reports and records
? Assist in the activities of other inspectors as directed
? Collect, prepare and analyze data for corrective action and process improvement.
? Report problems and issues to production management
? Review reject and defect trends with production team
? Perform process audits of equipment setup and conditions to ensure process controls are observed.

? Possesses knowledge of shop practices and have a knowledge of processes normally used by the company
? Knowledge of inspection requirements, company quality standards and military specifications
? Ability to keep accurate inspection records
