Blow Mold Operator
Day shift (7 am – 3 pm or 8 am to 4 pm, they're flexible) with possible one or two Saturdays a month.
Must have experience with Bekum, Magic, or R&B shuttle, extrusion blow molding, Seidel, Krones, or unalloyed experience isn’t transferable to shuttle experience so knowledge in Seidel, Krones, or unalloyed are of no use to them. Prefer at least 4 or more years of experience, a big plus if you have your own tools but company will provide tools if necessary. This process is not like plastic injection molding that you might be aware of.
Salary = $25 per hour to $31 per hour depending on experience, open to going a little higher for the right experience, a sign on bonus is available, there is immediate vacation time, vacation time is flexible and depends on your experience. An onsite interview is preferred in order to walk you through the equipment, this is a completely biodegradable process. Onboarding process is very fast.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with plant safety standards and with applicable laws and regulations issued by regulatory agencies
Operate blow-mold machines (preferred shuttle machines) to ensure production of quality bottles and perform audits, weights and quality checks.
Adhere to quality control and to blow mold process procedure Troubleshoot and perform minor repair on blow-mold and support equipment to resolve process issue
Make adjustments to process or machine to meet product specifications.
Repair fittings or replace pneumatic and hydraulic lines.
Assist with preventive maintenance, blow mold, neck inserts, blow pin, and other mechanical equipment.
Grind excess bottle and material Identify maintenance needs and document equipment repairs.
Train other employees.
Prepare & document daily production reports, including process parameters, quality data, line efficiencies, scrap, and other tasks.
Other duties as assigned by leadership.

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Associate degree is preferred. Prefer formal training in the area of EBM or machine operation. 1-3 years of experience in the field or in a related area.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts in a production environment.
The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
Temperatures inside the plant can fluctuate between hot and cold according to seasonal changes.
Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required in the production department and other designated areas.
