A.    BASIC FUNCTION:  Responsible for ensuring orders are completed and shipped at the lowest possible cost while producing a quality part that is acceptable to the customer and profitable for the Company.  Instruct and oversee employees perform their duties in a safe, accurate, professional, and timely manner.

1.    Employee responsibilities.
a.    Enter absences and vacation into the time and attendance system, ADP.
b.    Evaluate employee performance and pursue corrective action for rule violations.
i.    Complete Hourly Performance Reviews.
ii.    Complete On The Job Training forms both hourly and temporary employees.
iii.    Notify management of employee issues in a timely manner.
c.    Responsible for distribution and channeling of orders through the production areas.
d.    Adjust manpower as required by production.
e.    Ensure the production schedule is being produced daily.
f.    Maintain flow of information to and from employees concerning work requirements, new policies, and new methods of operations.
2.    Safety responsibilities.
a.    Ensure employees are in compliance with safety and environmental rules.
b.    Conduct weekly safety meetings.
c.    Safety Incidents.
i.    Coordinate the completion of Incident Investigation Reports (IIR).
ii.    Coordinate the completion of Near Miss/Hazard Reports.
iii.    Investigate the cause of safety incidents and include in documentation on the IIR or Near Miss/Hazard Report.
iv.    Monitor emails distributed with items to be addressed during weekly safety meetings.
3.    Production responsibilities.
a.    Perform periodic inspections of the production/plant area.
b.    Plan and coordinate production of quality foam at the lowest possible cost.
c.    Complete paperwork timely.
d.    Check equipment for problems.
e.    Recommend and implement improved working methods.
f.    Work together as a Supervisor team to maximize plant output.
g.    Address problems in the production area.
h.    Control overtime.
i.    Maximize foam yield.
j.    Ensure shortages are added to the truck by shift end; the driver signs the bill of lading and receives packing list.
4.    Attend Supervisory training courses.                

1.    Education requirement: Ability to read/write/speak/understand English and Spanish, High School Diploma. 
2.    Responsible for following all environmental, safety, and work rules.
3.    Responsible for notifying management of any harassment, unsafe acts/conditions, or environmental concerns.
4.    Responsible for following the 5-S for Safety Process (sort, straighten, shine, standardize, sustain).
5.    Responsible for working safely.
6.    Responsible for complying with all quality requirements.
7.    Responsible for working overtime when required/scheduled.
8.    Available for call-in when necessary.
9.    Responsible for performing additional duties as required by the Supervisor.
