WAREHOUSE MANAGER OPENING TOTOWA NEW JERSEY !
MUST HAVE STRONG PROCESS DEVELOPMENT AND ROOT CAUSE ANALYSIS SKILLS. SALARY RANGE 120-130K. MUST BE STRONG WITH OVERALL LEADERSHIP SKILLS AND WAREHOUSING AND LOGISTICS. MANUFACTURING OR PACKAGING PLANT EXP IS PREFFERED HIGH SPEED HIGH VOLUME REQUIRED. TOTOWA, NJ 

 

Runs dynamic warehouse environment; responsible for shipping and receiving dock schedules receipt of finished product (domestic and overseas); put away production and received goods; picking, staging and loading of outbound customer delivery/pickups; owns inventory control and cycle counting. Responsible for Totowa and other New Jersey satellite warehouse(s).

 

  • Accomplishes warehouse operations objectives by recruiting, training, developing, handling personnel reviews, and disciplinary actions when needed.
  • Create, develop, and enforce policies to improve operational efficiencies
  • Manages department KPIs and sets action plans to support continuous improvement of results
  • Validates ERP processes and supports in place to run WMS and operations effectively
  • Manages warehouse equipment fleet upkeep and all employee safety trainings/records
  • Develops warehouse design by planning layout, product flow, and product handling systems; evaluating and recommending new equipment.
  • Develops warehouse operations system improvements by analyzing process work flow, manning and space requirements, and equipment layout; implementing changes
  • Maintains safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures
  • Secures property by developing protection and access policies and procedures
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
  • Accomplishes warehouse operations and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
  • 5 to 10 years managing a high SKU/complexity distribution operation
  • Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
  • Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
  • Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases
  • Leadership skills and ability manage staff
  • Strong decision making and problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills

 

  • BS degree in logistics, supply chain management, engineering or business administration
