Maintenance Technicians
- There are 4 day shift and 4 night shift openings, 12 hour shift 6 am – 6 pm days and 6 pm – 6 am nights (Mon – Fri extra $1/hr for shift differential on night shift. If the tech works Saturday & Sunday they get an extra $3/hr, there is an extra $2/hr on the weekends for day shift techs. It's a 2-2-3 flexible schedule with 2 days on, 2 days off, and a 3 day rotating weekend with every other weekend off. Non union 24/7 operation, $20-$24/hr range DOE, would like to see 3-5 years experience, there are annual reviews with 30-60-90 day reviews, there's no guarantee that someone will get a bump up at the 30 or 60 day review but some techs have come in and knocked it out the park and gotten a raise within the 30 – 90 day review period. There is a $700 sign on bonus, and a $1000 yearly bonus that's split up each quarter, benefits (single Blue Cross HMO, employee pays less than $40 a week, 30 day waiting period for benefits, you get sick time prorated over the year, in 90 days you get pro-rated sick time (you get 40 hours a year), you get one week of vacation every 6 months so you get two weeks a year. In 5 years you get 3 weeks vacation. There is a 401k with 3% match, and half a percent up to 5%. There is currently a 15 person maintenance crew, there are 55 straw lines and there is a need for several more techs to man the lines, the culture is good there.

Essential functions and responsibilities:
- Routine machine and equipment maintenance and repair
- Product changeovers as needed
- General building maintenance
- Preventive maintenance
- Work on continuous improvement projects as needed
- Notify lead of needed extended repairs and or spare parts
- Completion of all pertinent maintenance paperwork
- Be part of Corrective Action teams
- Help out production team as needed
- Quality auditing and understanding
- Ability to perform quality testing as needed
- Report any potential food safety, legality, quality of food defense concerns to the plant manager or quality personnel
- Follow all documented Good Manufacturing Practices
- Maintains product safety, legality, regulatory compliance and quality systems
- Must follow all company policies and procedures
- This is a Safety Sensitive Position (drug test may be required)
