Repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment such as injection molding machines, dryers, thermolators, pad printers, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and miscellaneous equipment by performing the following duties.
Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of equipment.
Perform scheduled and preventative maintenance of equipment.
Perform mechanical skills including but not limited to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting.
Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
Perform service and maintain auxiliary equipment such as chillers, heaters, dryers, grinders, and conveyors.
Miscellaneous duties as required by Maintenance Manager.
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
480/240 3-phase systems with an understanding of power distribution in an industrial plant.
Electric control systems, motor starters, heater circuits, relays, fuses, transformers, and contactors.
Electric schematics and machine control prints are a must have.
Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, compressors, and cooling towers a plus, but not required
Flexibility to work periodically as needed, overtime with seldom need to work weekends.
Experience with Injection Molding Machines, not required but nice to have.
