Maintenance Technicians – Level I, II, III
 
Our client is looking for Industrial Maintenance Technicians to join the maintenance team at their Hodges, SC plant.  This position requires the ability to diagnose equipment faults and malfunctions, perform both electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and repairs on production equipment, and have the ability to operate powered lift equipment (forklift, wave picker, hoists, etc.).
 
To be successful in this role, you will have an excellent safety record, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and be able to work in a team environment.  The ideal candidate has experience working with warehouse equipment and be able to work in an environment with varying temperatures.  Additionally, you will need to be able to work safely, quickly, and accurately and be able to communicate effectively at all levels.
 
Job Details:
Level I
  • Proficiency in performing equipment preventive maintenance
  • Ability to diagnose equipment faults and malfunctions
  • Ability to operate powered lift equipment (forklift, wave picker, hoists, etc.)
  • Experienced, preferably by formal training, in principles and standards for mechanical, hydraulic and electrical equipment operations
 
Level II
  • The ability to perform both electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and repairs of production equipment from basic hydraulic and mechanical equipment to complex PLC-controlled machinery
  • Replaces and repairs parts, rebuild equipment, align gears, shafts, pulleys and belts
  • Performs Preventive and Predictive maintenance on production equipment
  • Effectively troubleshoots failures and works in team environment to determine root causes of failure  
  • Participates in plant shift meeting and continuous improvement activities
  • Sets molds in injection molding machines with assistance
  • Utilizes CMMS system to manage work orders, create and review work history, and manage parts use
 
Level III
  • Ability to provide mechanical and technical guidance and expertise to level 1, and level 2 technicians to continually improve the education, experience and skill set within the department (teach/coach/mentor)
  • PLC test equipment experience including troubleshooting, repairs, PM's and other world-class maintenance measures
  • Conducts predictive maintenance inspections using predictive technologies like vibration analysis, ultrasonic, oil analysis, and thermography
  • Experience replacing and repairing parts, rebuilding equipment, aligning gears, shafts, pulleys and belts
  • Utilizes CMMS system to manage work orders, create and review work history, and manage parts use
  • Experience, preferably by formal training, in principles and standards for mechanical, hydraulic and electrical equipment operations
