STRONG ELECTRICAL 

  1. Minimum Required Qualifications:
  1. Must have proficient communications skills both verbal and written.
  2. Must have proficient math skills.
  3. Must have proficient analytical skills.
  4. Must have proficient problem solving skills.
  5. At least 5 years work experience in a maintenance capacity on production manufacturing equipment
  6. Skilled in the use of CMMS
  7. Able to use volt meter to check AC/DC voltage
  8. Strong troubleshooting skills in both mechanical and electrical.
  9. Strong understanding of Pneumatics-solenoid valves, actuators and controls.
  10. Strong understanding of hydraulic system operations
  11. Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems using a schematic diagram
  12. Programing of VFD’s
  13. Understanding of PLC logic controls
  14. Skilled in the use of tool room machinery such as MIG and/or TIG weld, Lathes, Drill Press, Band Saw, and other metal working machinery
  15. Ability to drive a fork lift is required

 

 

  1. Method of training:  On the job training

 

    1. General Job responsibilities – orientation and review. 
    2. Onboarding Plan for Maintenance
    3. GMP’s Good Manufacturing Practices
    4. Company rules and regulations
    5. Will receive general training and orientation that will include;

– Plant Safety and Emergency Procedures

– Lock-Out/Tag-Out Lock-Out/Tag-Out

– Arc Flash Safety Training

– Miscellaneous Alchemy Training

 

  1. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  1. Schedule and perform preventive maintenance of equipment
  2. Troubleshoot and repair of complex problem equipment
  3. Repair and/or replacement of defect parts
  4. Install new and used equipment.
  5. Upgrade existing equipment as instructed by manager
  6. Review data off CMMS and develop plans to reduce downtime and machine failures
  7. Researching and identification of spare parts
  8. Responsible for writing of PM checklist and procedures for assigned equipment
  9. Training of junior level mechanics
  10. Maintains and repair production support equipment such as Air Compressors, Boilers, Silos, Grinders and HVAC systems
  11. Design and fabricate metal parts for plant and/or production equipment.
  12. Documents all work performed daily.
  13. Submit purchase order request for parts.
  14. Responsible for performing other tasks as instructed by Supervisor or Manager.

 

  1. Working Conditions:

 

  1. Continual walking and standing on hard surface, climbing and descending steps.
  2. Continual bending, stooping, reaching, pulling, pushing and lifting up to 50 lbs.
  3. Exposed to cool, hot temperatures and noise.
  4. Must be able to stand for long periods of time
  5. Temperatures ranging to very warm conditions
  6. Loud noises generated from equipment
