  • 3 to 4 years experience in food processing
  • Previous verifiable experience in maintenance (min of 1yr) or min 1-2 yrs of  mechanical / maintenance classes.
  • Courses from a junior college or technical institute, job-related seminars and ongoing education
  • Machining of parts, use of the lathe, mill grinders, etc.
  • Welding – arc, heli-arc, plasma
  • Pump repairs – centrifugal and positive displacement
  • EMT must supply there own tools
  • System troubleshooting techniques including schematic reading
  • Construction electrical skills
  • PID Loop Tuning techniques
  • Skilled in the use of electronic testing equipment with the ability to simulate testing procedures on the bench
  • Experience with utility-related equipment boilers, water systems, air compressors, HVAC
  • Experience with automated and high speed packaging equipment
  • Knowledge of and experience with computerized maintenance management systems
  • Knowledge of MS/DOS, Windows, MS Word, Excel and other computer applications
  • Knowledge of AC/DC drives and related electrical controls
  • PLC experience is a plus but not neccessary

  • Troubleshoot, repair and maintain production line and facility equipment
  • Perform preventive maintenance routines on all equipment
  • Assist in the design and installation of new equipment or layouts
  • Assist with the operation of production line equipment
  • Assist in other areas of plant maintenance as needed
  • Maintain proper housekeeping in all areas
  • Must be able to participate in company’s emergency response team
  • All other duties as assigned by management
  • National bottling and packaging company is looking to add to our maintenance team.  We are looking for experienced Mainteannce Technicians with the ability to troubleshoot and maintain plant production machinery and equipment.  Successful candidates will be able to troubleshoot and repair automation, electrical and mechanical issues.  240/480v, AC/DC, VFD, PLC, conveyor systems, packaging machinery and labling equipment.
