HR Generalist

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the main HR contact for employees and support day-to-day HR operations.
• Maintain employee records, HR systems, and personnel files.
• Assist with recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, orientation, E-Verify, and new hire paperwork.
• Coordinate temporary labor and represent the company at job fairs/community events.
• Support benefits administration, payroll coordination, attendance tracking, FMLA, and ADA processes.
• Handle employee relations matters, complaints, investigations, and disciplinary support while maintaining confidentiality.
• Assist with performance reviews, employee training, and development initiatives.
• Promote employee engagement through recognition programs, team events, and workplace initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company HR policies and labor laws.
• Assist with audits, reporting, special projects, and other assigned duties.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
• 2–3 years of HR experience required; manufacturing or food production experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred.
• Knowledge of HRIS systems, payroll processes, FMLA, ADA, and labor regulations.
• Strong communication, organizational, and conflict resolution skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work effectively in a team environment.
