Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic 

Location: US-IL-Toluca

Overview

Responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing food manufacturing equipment and facility systems. This role supports production by performing preventive maintenance and minimizing downtime.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and packaging equipment

• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance

• Install and relocate equipment; support startups/shutdowns

• Assist operators with equipment issues and line performance

• Work with mechanical, electrical (480V), PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and welding/fabrication

• Maintain equipment such as ovens, mixers, pumps, fillers, packaging machines, and palletizers

• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment

• Support continuous improvement and TPM initiatives

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing

• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills

• Experience with 480V, schematics, and PLCs

• Knowledge of LOTO and general safety practices

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Basic computer skills (MS Office)
